I cant seem to find any info on this. I want to get a 2016 5.5" BST and fit it on my SXV but I want to be able to put it on my 2017 RF if I want. Whats the difference?

Thanks!

According to your post, you have both bikes in your garage.
Then go ahead and take the OEM wheel off the SXV and try mounting it on the RSV4-RF, you will then understand my comment.

And even if you could find a BST wheel originally meant to fit an SXV, and somehow fit it onto an RSV4-RF, do you think it is good idea to use a wheel designed for a 275-lbs bike with 65-HP on a 450-lbs bike with 175-HP?

BST has 2009-2016 RSV4 wheels that come in 5.5" but not for 2017+ RSV4. I thought it might be fun to get the 5.5" RSV4 wheels and try them on my SXV, too. If it's just a matter of making spacers...

Also, I spoke with Brock's performance and all the wheels are basically the same strength and weight except for variances in the hubs, sprocket carrier, and bearings. The race only wheels are different and would not be a good idea regarding the issue you mentioned.

ok,

Then all you have to do is use your SXV wheel to do a trial fit and measurement on your RSV4, then you will know exactly what needs to be adapted.

I dont see how thats going to tell me if a 2016 RSV4 wheel fits a 2017 RSV4. I dont have a 2016 RSV4 wheel. I will have to do that but I would rather find out if the 2016 RSV4 wheel fits 2017 first.

I can't stand it any longer, :crowbar:
Hint: look at the product description for a rear wheel.
