Can anyone tell me the correct size to run for the front Michelin slick? Thanks Chad

12/60-17

This is what I run and it works great!

I was at RRR this past weekend and Buff of Buzz's Pcycle told me that 12/60-17 would be to tall for the RS250 and that I should go with 12/59-17. Of course I had already bought tires prior to coming to the track in the 12/60-17 size. I ended up just running my 110/150 combination of race's for the weekend. What do you think of what he said, ever heard this before? Chad

The size I gave you is what the Michelin guys recommended to me when I decided to buy slicks. I have been extremely happy with them and have NO COMPLAINTS!:D I wouldn't mind trying a different size some time, but I bet I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. I won 3rd place overall in all the LW CCS SW classes that I raced in last year on that size Michelin slick in a medium compound and am loving it...

This was my first race weekend, I started out the weekend around 1:35 to 1:38 and progressed down to around 1:25 to 1:30. Did not get all my lap times as I was having trouble getting my lap timer working, the 1:25's where when it was not working but I was right behind another rider for several laps that was running 1:25's so I am not sure. Need to get the lap timer figured out. One more thing to learn. Chad
