another inside look at the CAS facility

i finished taking zina's bike apart today... it started out being backed into the lift. the rear wheel is still clamped in the wheel vice. one of my favorite methods for front end work is to clamp the rear wheel, put the bike on a front stand, place jack stands under the engine cradle, then remove front stand. this leaves full access to the front of the bike for all operations without having to work around stands. also leaves the steering free to go lock to lock.

also note the two cartons ... one with tools and one with bolts, misc hardware. if you are somewhat disciplined with your tools, you won't spend any (or much) time looking for them while you work. use a socket, put it in the tray. i generally am not that anal but decided to try it out tonite. not once did i "lose" a tool. :)

i've got some sleepless nights ahead of me!!
