Hello...
i just want to get fellow forum members opinion on what would be a good price for a 2009 f4 1078rr 312 with 36 miles on it and if I should even consider buying one for street(highway) riding. Its a monoposto. Wish it was a biposto as my wife would occasionally go on rides with me. Does anybody know how much would it cost to convert the bike to biposto?
Thanks!

It's a good bike a little powerful for the street it will cost a lot to change for two you will need sub frame and hardware ,rear plastics, rear seat, rear footrests .

Racer X - you mean aftermarket parts or just servicing it?

@sburns2421 - that bike at moto europa sold yesterday. It's shipping to Florida today.

Serviceing a mv in the uk is not that bad it's a little more than a jap multi but less than a Ducati or BMW as for parts there all expensive for gen parts the mv bits come through ok all dealers are linked to the factory so if I order a part it will tell me when I will get it ( approx 48 hrs ) with most bits I've ordered

36 miles !! wow

I'd say $10-12K is a good price. Anything lower is a steal

That's what I thought. My highest bid on ebay was $12,000 but it just sold for almost $19,000:crybaby:. Good for the seller coz his reserve was $11,500.

Theres one here for sale in NZ it has 49,000 Ks and its asking price i $19,900 NZ dollars, that equates to about $14,000 american dollars. (its on NZ trade me)

$19000 is excessive for a 1078RR. You could get an immaculate Senna or Ago for that money.

But I guess the buyer paid top dollar because of the few miles. I'd assume he's a collector as 36 miles means nothing to someone who intends riding it

Yes, the owner got in touch with me yesterday. The highest bidder was just playing games.
If anyone is interested, he is looking to get $18k for the bike.

:bangwall::bangwall::bangwall: Just 60 miles from where I live and a great price too. Wish I could afford both. I still haven't picked up my rsv4 from OH. Might stop by and take a look on my way

the mv is a beauty, but the aprilia is a much more practical bike, yes it felt strange typing that out

2 very different and special motorcycles in my opinion. That's why you should have both.

I have a new one with maybe 1 or 3 miles, I can't remember, maybe none haha, was started on my driveway, battery removed, and stored behind my R312.

The RR is just as valuable as any Senna or Ago, maybe more in time. They are collectable due to the names, and some trinklets, the RR312 was the next most powerful bike ever produced for the road next to the CC, and will never be repeated. Everything else has electronic safety nets built in, and in the U.K. from the 1st of this year all bikes have to meet new regulations, fully from the 1st of next year, so that's it.

Get both maybe, or just the RR which I doubt is too much for the street. The R before it is an angry but rewarding bike, only more scary in the wet. IMO the best combination is the v twin Factory + F4 R something.

It's about 1500 to convert to Biposto.
