Hello,
I've started to do it yesterday. I don't want to spend tons of for cans.

First, I cut both exhaust on the rear welding.

I removed the rears part, and cut the tube.

Then I drilled 2 holes 28mm on each can (we can see on the rear the catalysor).

It will be weld on next week.
For the moment, the catalysors stay in place. I will test it like that, if necessary I'll remove catalysors.

Here are two little schemes.

Here you can see here the gaz path before modification

And after modification

This week I'll start the engine without exhaust:lame:

That's all for the moment :-)

It's finished.

I has been soldered, with TIG, and cleaned with my little hands, during about 20 mn for each can. Here is the difference before and after cleaning.
281950

Mounted on the bike:
281951

About the sound:
I'm really happy with it, but it's a bit a strange sound for a twin.
It's really louder.
But not as deep (bass) as Akrapovic or others adaptable cans.
It's more metallic. In high revs it makes me think of an agressive V4. More "factory" if I can say.
