I have looked on the shop site and searched on here but cannot find an exact explanation of how a fat duc is wired onto a 1200, where is the sensor plug on the bike and how hard is it to do and fit, if it takes hours I prob wont bother, any help appreciated. mark.

It's actually pretty easy. You just have to take off the fuel tank. The wire runs up the left side of the motor and the plug is behind the airbox/ecu you can run the fat duc down the right side of the frame by the ecu so you can adjust it. You could probably do it in 30 minutes and is rated as a one-beer job.

I kept the fatduc I had on the 750 Dorso that I selled one month ago. Can I use it on my new 1.2 2014 Dorso ? Is it the same for both models ?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes I believe they are all the same whether aprilia, Ducati or guzzi

The only thing I found when I installed my fat duc was the hassle of trying to make easy access to it.I cut about a inch of the wrap holding the wire leading to the plug and pulled the plug to the left hand side of the bike so when I hooked it up you can see it between the frame and the side cover.Makes it very easy to adjust......If you measure the turns in 1/4 s I found that 1/4 back from full worked for me.....251490
