Reading this forum I came across a reference in a post from "webley" to a " Speedo Healer ", which prompted me to do a google search, as my speedo reads high.

I came across a unit (SHV4 -U01) which could be of benefit to Capo owners who change the chain drive ratio and/or want to change to MPH/KPH when traveling. Also comes with an app for your smart phone to calibrate it.

Disclaimer

I do not use the unit, There are other units available and I am not endorsing the unit mentioned.

I had one on the Bandit, but it was "plug-n-play" since you can get the connectors that match OEM.

I would expect to have to splice the device in if I where to use the "U01" (universal) connector(s).

I used a PNP on the Versys as well. I do reccommend the product.
We humans use instruments to provide us information about physical reality
That is not perceptible to our animal senses. An instrument (speedometer) that cannot do this or provides grossly incorrect information is of no value or use.
Cheers

Changing either sprocket has no effect on the speedo on this bike though as it measures speed off both wheels.
