View Full Version : Concerns picking up an 09 750 DD with only 900 miles?

I've been lurking in the background for a couple of months picking up on some great information on my latest obsession, the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750!

I've been planning on buying one up this month, speaking with the local dealer and scanning the internet for used opposed to a 2014. Seems the bike is basically unchanged apart from the addition of ABS on the 14. Anyway I've found a SHOWROOM condition 09 with less than 1000 miles at a great price. While I'm a bit of a bike whore I'm new to the Aprilia family and the DD. Anyone have any comments of things I should be worried about or anything particular I should be aware of with 5 year old bike with so few miles? Apart from the tires and visible rubber hoses, I'll be taking a hard look at those for possible replacement.

Thanks !!

You are in the 1200 DD section, so im guessing thats why you haven't had a response.

I owned a 750 and my brother has one.(with 8k trouble free miles, kept outside, rode rain or shine, in the cold and wet) Im getting my 1200 in a few days.

Ive owned various style of bikes and the DD is by far the best. Some may experience little problems along the way (some go 30k miles issue free), but its worth it. The DD is a love affair the minute you hop on it.
