After 3 months in the repair shop I am now back on the road. It's like getting a new bike. I had forgotten what a great bike this is, now just want to fit a smaller front sprocket. Then what next mmm..

Bit wet & windy this morning though at 5:45 :tired:

Good news.
Bit wet at 5.30 this evening too. I got soaked despite waterproofs on my short ride home.

And this morning. Had to leave the bike out last night & scrape the ice off the seat this morning https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/82920844/2014-01-14%2007.59.57.jpg

We hit about 42*C today which is pretty hot for here. Hard to imagine ice on the seat

Ha ha, well we do have opposite seasons :)

I rode home in 45 C this afternoon and found the bike handled it pretty good, a lot of extra heat with the fans running though. It seems to direct the heat directly onto the rider which wasn't nice specially at lights, so turning the bike off and that fixed that.

Does that policy not affect the battery Mr Ninja?

Possibly, but when riding in that heat, I'm prepared to take the risk. Plus if it did fail, there is a pub on every corner is Australia so it wouldn't be a far walk to sit and wait for help :)

Now I do like the way that thinking works...
