Just noticed that the rider seat has a line of small bobbles running along he left hand edge just above the red double stitching. Anybody experienced similar?
Is obviously something to do with what's under the top seat cover and may be caused by the continual movement of the left leg at foot down time. Am thinking I might try for a replacement seat.

Haven't noticed any bobbles on mine mate. However I do have an airhawk cushion over the top of it which would cover it up anyway. Didn't notice anything pre airhawk though. I'd mention it if it's noticeably bothersome.

How many miles have you done? warranty on something like that would be hard and depend on the dealer.

Bike has done just over 2000 miles, bought as ex demo and I noticed the bobbles when I got it home. Wheels Peterborough are putting in a warranty claim supported by photos. Fingers crossed. Will try to upload photo, but the bobbles are in such a symmetrical line, all same size and same gap I between each that it must be a defect in the material or manufacture.

I have the stock and gel seats and neither have anything like that at all.

Dealer has confirmed Aprillia have agreed to replace the seat.
Funnily enough I went for 100mile ride yesterday and it was very cold but sunny and dry.
Got back home and washed the bike down and low and behold...no bobbles.
Looked again this morning...still no bobbles, seat like a babies bum.
Went for a short ride over to Moto Forza on Silverstone circuit, when I got there, yes you've guessed it, bobbles back again.
Funny old world.

At least you've got a replacement coming. No more need to worry about the mystery bobbles.

I have similar marks on seat of my bike (about 800 miles from new). I don't see it as an issue unless they develop into splits in the cover but will be interested to know if it is dealt with as a warranty matter.

see above, mine is being replaced under warranty. Like you I could live with the bobbles but not if they become splits in the seat cover!!.
