Excellent tire unless you plan on any track days.

I have about 2500 miles with them. Really good tire. Rode them in the wet on some very curvy roads and they felt planted. I went with the 190/55 in the rear. The more amazing thing is that I can still "just" barely see the GT in the center tread.

I've ridden with the predecessors (= Angel ST) appx. 4000 miles / 6000 km's and wery satisfied.

What comes to tires weight it seems that the reartire is among the most heavy ones ( being + 7 kg) when the lightest are under 6 kg.

I use them & am very happy with them. As stated earlier, wouldn't go to the track with them, but are great for street riding.

I have 5200 miles on the Angel GT set on my Mille. The 180/55 rear looks like it has about another 1000 miles left and the front looks like it has about another 3k-4k or so left. Previously I went through 5 Angel ST rear tires, 1 Pirelli Diablo rear tire and 3 Angel ST fronts over a span of 25,265 miles. The Diablo was put on after a flat in the second Angel ST (decking screw picked up in the middle of the tread while I was out in the middle of nowhere) and was on for 3,718 miles. Not counting the one that went flat I got about 4,600 miles on each of the Angle ST rears and an average of 8,423 on each of the Angel ST fronts. The Angel GT rear tire feels as good or better than the ST rear tires and it is wearing more evenly and giving more miles than the ST rear tires did. The front seems to be about the same so far for longevity and grip.

So no problem with the 190/55 fitting under the rear hugger? That has more of a crown than the 190/50 right, so should feel better in the twisties?

No problem with running the 190/55. I have them on both of my Tuonos. Turn in is much easier, makes the bike feel more nimble. I've been running the polit road 3's but want to try the Pirelli Gt's also. We should meet up for a ride some time.

BOTH your Tuonos? Your an animal. Yes, meeting up would be great. I was in Brooksville on Sunday when I had the blowout. Lake Lindsey Rd. where the trail crosses. I'll PM you.

have not tried the Pirellis (currently Dunlop Q3's) but I went from the 190/55 to 180/55 and I like them better and they are cheaper.
