I did that very thing today and fitted a Hepco & Becker specific rack for the Caponord 1200. Very well made and strong bit of kit that looks great so far. It will take either a H&B top box or a Givi base plate over it and a Givi box.

I can post pics tomorrow if anyone is interested?

Here are a few pictures of the rack installed and the installation instructions (I hope). It is really easy to fit and you only need to fiut the front stand-up piece if you are using a H&B top box otherwise you leave it off and fit the base-plate to the rack.

The rack and boxes are made by Shad and have nothing to do with Aprilia/Piaggio.

They may be made by Shad, but you can only get the top box colour matched via Aprilia In fact I have looked at the Shad web site
http://www.shad.es/en/shad-world/products/cases/c9/ and they do not list the Caponord 1200 fittings or the same style of top box or panniers, so you can only order them via Aprilia. Which is how I ordered mine, via my Aprilia dealer. If Aprilia aren't currently trading then Aprilia UK and the dealer cant get them.

Dies anyone have the instructions for mounting the Aprilia Top Box to the Caponord 1200? Imported the top box from Germany but no instructions. Would be appreciative if someone could email instructions to me.

Looks great & very solid. Any movement with the case on?

I was waiting for the mini rack to become available, but I may just relent.

It's very sturdy and doesn't move about or rattle at all in use.

Interestingly, Givi have just made an alu rack available for the Caponord 1200, part number SRA6706 but I can't find it available anywhere. I have emailed Givi as to where it is available and how much. I will post here when I get a reply.

Wow a 4-6 week wait, really? They must have employed an ex Aprilia parts manager.
