Does anyone with a DD1200 know if a 190/55/R17 will fit on the back, instead of the 180/55/R17. Would appreciate any imput on this topic as I had a blow out today.h

Absolutely...i had a 200/55 slick on the back at the track with no issues. A 190 should of been OEM i u ask me. Its a 6" rim for gods sake, handles better with the 190/55

Had a BT023 rear for a while....thought is would last but this bike eats rears like crazy!! Even more so than my ZX14.

Byrdman! Did the 190 fall in and out of corners slower? What you say makes sense and I think the T4 comes stock with 190's, with the same size rim as the DD.

Not sure Lanter because I raised the forks in the triples at the same time which in turn made it more flickable...that 200/55 slick was amazing!! :)

200/55 fits  nice! i'm upsizing!! Those Pirelli Angel GT's are an amazing tyre, you won't be disappointed.

Who recommends what for track? supercorsa's??

I bought a set of Dunlop NTEC UK slicks....but Im sure the supercorsas will be plenty sticky. Just becareful on drive out, this bikes have way too much torque

Rear end is always stepping out when you give it a good drive out, a weird sense of fun on a 230kg supermoto!!

Think I will go with the V2 supercorsa's, the front tyre edge on them just keeps rolling over almost to the rim

1+ on the V2s! Or the Rosso corsa might be next for me.

How you raised the forks in the triples, compared with the stock?

I went with a set of Conti Motion Sport 190/50 rear great tires for the price $170 for a pair

I used pirelli supercorsa sp 180/60 at Philip Island, dropped in very well and never stepped out

I have also changed to 190/55 17 pilot power pure Michelin tires and it gives a big wow effect now. The bike is like a toy to drive arround a curve is like playing with the road, fantastic.

This is the problem I have 180 worn to the edge

But the front I is no we're close I used to have this problem on my NSR when I could only find 120 fronts with 110's it was perfect. So what's everyone thought on this ? Is there a better profile front for these bikes or maybe run a 110 ?

Or maybe I just need to push a little harder

Go harder into corners ;) late braking then tip in hard

Wot he said:plus: like motorcross riding. Just do it as a progression, bit by bit until your comfortable.
