Hi just did an OEM passenger handle install. Found people having trouble with the instructions. So here is what i did for my install. First i drilled 4 pilot holes 1/8 and reinstalled rear faring on the bike. used the 1/8 drill bit out of the drill and made shore all holes lined up with frame mounts.231539231540231541231542
Now as you can see i went right in the middle of the outline to the hole size. I did not do what the instructions told me. Next i went on to drilling with the hole saw. i used a 1-1/8 or 28mm bit. I went smaller then the 30mm to cut down on how much space would be around the rubber gromet hole to the handle tubes. Tighter fit.

231546As you can see the pre marked holes worked great. the only other two problems i had are from my bike. welded bad. My exhaust always looked off. From the faring sitting to high. but after the install it now looks good. so i needed to re-drill a hole for the small plastic screw on the right hand side. also the speed clip would not fit all the way in for the bolt thread to grab. so i filled down the rounded end to make it side in more. The handles do look nice and work well. Now i have a way to strap my stuff down. Hope this helps.

Hey Lanter, the pics opened OK for me. Nice work Styro. I recon i've had my rear fairing of half dozen times and never noticed those guide markings !!!!

Thanks for the pics and it looks great. That might be my next mod. As long as my dealer doesn't get the new 2014 abs T4 :)
