ive got some good news and some bad for the question you asked
first the bad the bad news is thats the type of top yoke i was on about what cant be converted to renthals so easly
good news is it cna be just by drilling 2 holes to the size of thew bolts the rissers have in them here is a simple example of the rissers you will need http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Aftermarket-RFX-Handlebar-Handle-Bar-Risers-1-25mm-/310657169376?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item48549c37e0
just drill the right size holes in the right place and bolt them on then get some renthal bars like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENTHAL-7-8-STANDARD-MOTOCROSS-ENDURO-HANDLEBARS-/221029505509?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item33766299e5
you may ask why got for the most expensive bits answer is because these parts i have showed are some of the best and i also have these except i got custom made risers on a cmc machine and ive crashed my bike since i converted mine and i have no handlebar damage at all but i have seen people buy the cheap handlebars and they snap and shatter on impact

as for headlights there are millions to choose from but from the ones i hvae had i would say dominator headlights look and do the best http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dominator-Twin-Headlight-Black-Streetfighter-Custom-Chop-Trike-Headlamp-BNIB-/221259413291?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item338416b72b
but as i say there is millions ill post some links to where you"ll find some diff types just matters to what type your after
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=streetfighter+headlight&_sop=12&_frs=1
http://www.vsmotoparts.com/all-scooter-moped-parts/lighting?limit=40&p=6 from this page onwards is the universal headlights

Zav
08-10-2013, 11:35 AM

George1066
08-10-2013, 11:38 AM

How bad is the bike after the crash and how did the crash happen

George1066
08-10-2013, 05:13 PM
Not that bad just smashed the front end and to many cracks and snapped bit so want to street fighter it i wantedto ages ago so this is a excuse to do it lol and i was coming down a road slowed down to speed limited i looked at speedo as look up car had stopped imfront and couldnt stop in time

Zav
08-10-2013, 05:47 PM
Ahaa I did pretty much same I wrote off the car with my head as the bike didn't touch it I smashed all the rear window caved in the rear bumper then smashed the rear light then the silly woman revered over my bike and me broke 3 ribs and cracked my helmet in 2

I must say streetfighted bikes are a lot easyer to wheelie and a lot comflyer to drive

George1066
08-10-2013, 05:55 PM
Oh not good man! And yeaaah defo just the work and money doing it to be honest but be fun doing it

What screen do you have on your bike?

apriliamandan
08-11-2013, 09:27 AM
What screen do you have on your bike?

Street fighters have no screen. If you go down the street fighter route, the bike has to look minty clean otherwise it'll look a mess.

George1066
08-11-2013, 10:41 AM
I dont mean i screen i mean the bit of plastic which will sit above the lights and protect the speedo from direct hit of rain and sooo on

George1066
08-11-2013, 01:15 PM
Zav i have just found some second hand dominator lights and the man said they have twin 3 pin connectors or something like that. How do you wire them up as it doesnt come with a wiring diagram

Zav
08-11-2013, 03:18 PM
easy 2 wires go one 2 off the 3 connections and them 3 connections decide high beam low beam and shield and non shield its just a trial and error very easy to do tho

ad i do have a screen i just chose not to use it as its a proper dominator twin headlight one whats ment for 600s all the way up to 1400s and can handle up to 220 mph without braking but its just too big

and the speedo dont need covering or anything as there water proof but the wires inside the frame need water proofing and hiding as you can disconnect the key and it will start without key and without the kill switch as im currently doing that as i broke my kill switch

also get polishing the frame makes them look 100x better and dont take much

George1066
08-11-2013, 04:02 PM
Ok cheers mate i will look into that thanks for helping me out! One last thing i like the look of the gpr nude panels you have where could i buy them? Will upload some picture during next couple of days as waiting for stuff to turn up now

Zav
08-11-2013, 04:11 PM
eBay but there very and I mean very rare to find as not many get spared as the sides are first to die and not worth trying but I got both sides 2 infills for the tank as need new with gpr fairins new raidiator cover as need new and 2 brackets to hold the fairing on all that I got for 50

George1066
08-11-2013, 04:13 PM
Bargain then

Zav
08-11-2013, 04:52 PM
Yeah the fairings are I think they cost me 4 for both but the other parts you need you need to go through a derbi dealler as there cheap but hard to get took them 3 month to get me 2 brackets for the fairing

George1066
08-11-2013, 04:56 PM
Yeah be good to find the fairings but cant find any :(

Zav
08-11-2013, 05:09 PM
Look up "derbi gpr fairings" and look for the side fairings for the nude as they don't always put nude at end or don't know what's what

Ill look for some on eBay for ya tomoz after work as I'm on phone at moment and I cba with mobile eBay

George1066
08-11-2013, 10:56 PM
Ok cheers mate i will have a look around

George1066
08-12-2013, 05:29 AM
Find one on eBay for about 25 but thats all i can find

Zav
08-12-2013, 05:34 AM
As for your speedo you don't really need it but if you decide you do need it you have to mount it onto the top yoke ill post pics when I can of how too

George1066
08-12-2013, 06:03 AM
I was going to mod the old bracket so the speedo was higher but not too sure if the yolk would hit it when I turned?

George1066
08-12-2013, 10:31 AM
229265Just found some nice bars in the local motorbike shop so i got them one step closer

Zav
08-12-2013, 11:30 AM
they are nice are they renthals or a cheapo brand

George1066
08-12-2013, 11:39 AM
Cheapo brand i guess! Cant really afford the rentals but there do for now! What was you saying about the speedo??

Zav
08-12-2013, 03:22 PM
You want to fit it to the top yoke or the top yoke will catch when you turn the handle bars

08-12-2013, 03:26 PM
Oh i see so basically you have made a plate and bolted that on with the riser bolts?

Zav
08-12-2013, 06:25 PM
yeah then you have to re route all the cables and you will need a longer clutch cable i got one of a rg125

George1066
08-12-2013, 10:40 PM
Ok i will work it out some way or another lol

George1066
08-12-2013, 10:51 PM
Why do i have to re route them should they be fine where they are

Zav
08-13-2013, 02:31 AM
Because the renthals are taller so some of the cables don't reach unless there re routed

George1066
08-13-2013, 02:44 AM
Oh yeah course stupid question to ask haha

Zav
08-13-2013, 03:18 AM
Also look into getting some stainless steal brake lines for the front brake as that will need to be changed as its too short but you can get ones you make yourself for 30 so you can get the right lengh

George1066
08-13-2013, 03:40 AM
Yeah someone else mention something about them will get that done when bars are all on

George1066
08-16-2013, 11:25 AM
Sorry havent posted in few days been really busy with work...i have just brought some headlight brackets which were a pain to get because of the upside down forks but now have them and still waiting for riser to come and just ordering my dominator headlights so should be here next week

George1066
08-17-2013, 10:24 AM

Looks good btw

George1066
08-20-2013, 03:22 PM
Whats a back plate

Zav
08-20-2013, 03:27 PM
A flat plate of steel under the top yoke being held on by the risers screws so you can weld a bracket onto the plate to hold the dash

I would sh pics but have none of mine

08-21-2013, 12:54 PM

Zav
08-21-2013, 01:02 PM
The extra wires are for day time running lights

George1066

LukeRS
08-21-2013, 03:59 PM
Just had a brain wave, I know you have headlights but...I think msx 125 (Honda Grom) headlight would have really made your bike look nice

Zav
08-21-2013, 06:36 PM
Its trial and error withe the wiring I found

and Luke you still after a rx50 might have one you like pm if interested

Fiftyracer
08-21-2013, 08:26 PM
Wouldn't get a msx headlight cheap yet they are only out. Millions of dominator wiring diagram online just Google it

How did you connect it from the wires already on bike and my head lights are different to yours inside? Did you get 4 cables 2 for low bean and 2 for high

Zav
08-22-2013, 02:26 PM
I scrapped the cables that came with the headlight and used the ones that came on bike I cut the wires in middle then soldered new connectors on to connect to the head light as the connectors on the builds have 3 points and you only need 2 as a build has 2 ways to light up so you have to have the right one for each beam

George1066
08-22-2013, 02:53 PM

Pretty much same aha except I got derbi nude fairings what I may be getting rid off as I cba cleaning them all time

George1066
08-23-2013, 04:31 PM
Thanks man took some time lol how much you looking for the panels?

Zav
08-23-2013, 04:49 PM
There is 7 pieces for all the fairing and the raid cover has had to be modified to fit as the gpr nude 125 what these fairings is off has a tad diff cradle

Because how rare the Side fairings are about I would say about 150 as the side fairings are hard to find and when they are found there normally about 60 for each side then all the other bits needed to fit them but as I say im only thinking about it as I might be selling the whole bike soon and using my other rs as ive just brought it a load of parts eg airsal 80 kit, 24mm carb, and a brand new arrow exhaust just waiting on bearings for it

George1066

Zav
08-23-2013, 06:04 PM
Apparently it's totally uncontrolable tho wheelies like mad and is hard to corner fast as your sitting so high up on the rear seat

But by go it looks sexy specialy what's been done for the rear light it's had a custom led light made and the old hole for the old rear light filled in

George1066
08-23-2013, 06:45 PM
Yeah looks mental bet its a best to ride! I want to try wheelie my bike now lol

Zav
08-24-2013, 03:36 AM
Easiest way to wheelie on is sit in 1st at 7.5 k revs just inside the power band stand up and bounce then as soon as you feel ready bounce open throttle and pull and it will go up

George1066
08-24-2013, 04:39 AM

Depends on pipe, filter, port timing, weather, climate list goes on my friend. Looks good though!

Zav
08-25-2013, 04:10 PM
I used to have a 92main jet with a stock engine arrow pipe and 21mm carb so start there and work down as I was running rich with that

George1066
08-25-2013, 04:18 PM
Ok mate i give it ago

Zav
08-25-2013, 04:20 PM
But it will run crap with the 92 main jet as that will be way too rich but gives you a good starting pint I think fully stock bike is a 78 main jet I think
