was helping a friend on his uncles property , looked in a shed , rolling chassis w/body , no motor though ........ made an offer . motor went to shop in
Houston , 7-8 years ago . son parked it and never came back for it . dad has title .have head and cases .... need a Wiseco cylinder block and 1260 cc big bore pistons . hoping I can pull this off .

Sounds like an ambitious project but I'm happy to hear you're taking on the challenge. Shouldn't be too hard to find an old Kawasaki motor to stuff back in there.

I rode many KB3's and SB4's when they were new, lovely bikes. They don't need monster power nowadays so any stock Z1000J motor will do to get it rolling. Look at Sanctuary in Japan for a nice new recreated Moriwaki pipe as these work well. Finding useable RC or similar 1260 blocks 30 years on may prove difficult.

Oh and we seem to share a surname
