Didn't the F3 675 just hit showroom floor last year? getting a new engine already?

The F3 800s are a ways off yet. The brutale 800 are just starting to hit US showrooms in tiny numbers. I've got one on order. My sportbike days are over.

Expect teething problems with mapping and such as they're still dealing with that on the 675. MV ownership is not for the faint of heart (I had a 910S brutale for some time, fun bike tho)

Was lucky enough to ride both Brutales last Saturday: the 675 and 1090R. All I can say is if that's what the 675's like, I want an 800 bad!!

The 675 was like a bicycle with 100 bhp. So small, so light, so flickable. And when the needle gets to about 8K, it does stretch your arms to the accompaniment of the most addicting howl this side of a Triumph Street Triple. I can only imagine what it'd be like with another 15 rear-wheel hp and lumps more torque. It may just be the ultimate hooligan tool, and that's from a bloke with a T4R!!

The 1090, by comparison, was a luxury ride. Smooth engine with gobs of power, comfy seat, good wind protection compared to the Tuono, planted in bends and very stable at 100 mph+ speeds. Had I been able to ride these bikes before I bought my T4, I probably would have bought one or t'other. As it is, I have an 800 on order, but we Canuckistanis probably won't get them until next year...:-(

The red/silver made my breath catch. MV Augusta makes motorcycle porn. I want one so damned badly.

I was referring to current bikes on track. I never have heard the rotary, but I can imagine.

Can't wait to see some more tests of this bike. I was really fixed to buy an factory ape next year but this beauty is very convincing. MCN has announced a comparison test in their next issue MV800 vs gsxr750 vs daytona 675.
And there is still baby panigalle to come:rolleyes:

The new F3 looks cool, can't wait to see it, although I've yet to see the F3 675, let alone the Brutale 675. Why does MV continue to tease us with new models that never seem to materialize?

What a raving beauty.
I am a bit put off by the price but if I wanted a bargain I could buy a Yamaha FZ09 huh?

They look like SEX on wheels DM the MV. and i think it rivals the panigale S or even the R , its a beautiful motorcycle, it retails here for $34,000 NZ dollars, it would be so fun to ride, that 800 revs and sounds fantastic.

thing was stunning in person. We had one up on a pedestal..... sold to a HUGE MV Agusta fan/collector.
and the best part is he actually rides them.

The little details were amazing.
love the footpegs.... some of the nicest looking and functional footpegs ive seen installed on a bike from an OEM

That's pretty funny. I just bought an FZ07. Best $7k I've ever spent! (And I've owned a $16k BMW and still have my 12 year old Futura)

Fit and finish of the plastic bits is much (did I say much?) better than my Futura's. It's plenty fast enough for our windy, crappy roads (and btw, with the right person on a bike like this, on our roads bikes like the MV, the RSV4 or Desmode-whatever are way too much), it's getting 65 mpg on 87 octane fuel, and with the 270 degree crank, sounds a lot like a Duc on decel ( one thing to like about Ducwaddies) .

Yeah, it's not "sexy". But if I need a part somewhere down the road, I won't have to go 3/4 across the state to find a dealer - who won't have that part in stock anyway.

While I love that bike and what it represents, if you actually ride your bikes hard it'd make more fiscal sense to add your own Ohlins and forged wheels to the base and would still be thousands less. Sexy bikes though.

Now that this is official http://www.cycleworld.com/2014/10/31/mercedes-amg-acquires-mv-agusta/

I'm hoping that MV has the finances to bring the Turismo Veloce to market!
