Is there such a thing? I have talked to a few dealers in So Cal and it seems as though none of the dealers are expecting them? I want a New Caponord and would possibly wait if I could find a DD to ride to see how it feels compared to a Multistrada.

no 2013s....things may change 2nd quarter 2013, but for right now, no plans to bring more in.

I looked at those and seriously considered them for a commute/highway ride, but couldn't get rid of my Falco. Switchable ABS is a good option, should be on all ABS equipped bikes IMO. Take one of them for a test ride, they do have a good motor TX.

If you are a US rider please send comments/requests to Aprilia to import some 2013 Dorso 1200's. There are folks out there who are interested in them (like me) and it makes no sense to only import a model for one year.

I love my DD1200 and I think its a very overlooked machine. I heard they had bikes for shipping, but the new bikes didn't meet US emission. I could be wrong and hopefully the new Caponord doesn't have the same problem

That sounds like a bad dream, fueling issue gets worked out and she's making more power so the final result is emission failure. Classic

Aprilia could do a map for shipping and then have dealers do a "break-in ecu update" with the better map. Or give away sets of arrow pipes and free mapping with new purchase of a new dd 1200. Bump the msrp a little if needed.

My Local UK dealer claims that for the UK market all Dorsoduro production is being stopped to see if Caponard and Shiver sales benefits....he hasn't sold anything but RSV4's and Tuono's in a year.

That's sad... All the Dorsoduro 1200s and Tuonos are sold out here... The RSV4 Factories are sold out too... The regular RSV4 and the 750s are the ones that seem slow to go...

I was just at the dealer and think of this as a 2nd bike...

If I were a few inches taller I'd buy a 1200 Dorso in a heartbeat.....great bike and loved the 1hr test run I had on it when it was released here...just too awkward for day-day use.....anyone know if there is a lowering ring for the shock similar to the 750's

Dealers here in CO moved all their DD 1200's quick... They have 750's that wont sale as well as the RSV4's like boylit mentioned.

I heard the same thing about customs/emissions with the 2012's, I am hoping that gets sorted out soon. Either way I placed a deposit with my local dealer for a 12/13 DD1200.... whichever arrives first (if they get here.)

Maybe the new 1200 mapping has sorted the emissions problem.

Emissions must be getting sorted since the new 1200 Caponard is aimed at all markets.

Motorcycle news has reported that the 1200 Dorsoduro will not be sold in the UK anymore. No mention of the 750 though.

I looked at www.bikesales.com.au last night and there seemed plenty of the new 2013 Dorso 1200 with ATC/ABS available here.

Ooops wrong. They were 2012 models.:o
