Since I'm sitting here with wet hair and waiting for it to dry so that my hair don't look completely stupid in the morning, I thought I could post a project thread.

I have got two of those wonderful Aprilia Rs50's

Bought the first one back in November 2008, sold it after 9 months and regretted it for almost three years, before I bought it back.

When I first bought it in 2008, it was an Aprilia Rs Tuono, and it looked like this!
http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s244/MatsEngel/Tullogtuono016.jpg

Did not have many plans at that moment, but I thought I'll maybe do an streetfighter of it, if it got some damages.

That did not last for long, and even if it got no damages, I still fuuukt it up.

When I sold it it looked kinda like this.

Bought it back, in this mint condition. Haha!

And bhaM! I went to work!

New engine, 230cc

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/2012-06-01165734.jpg

Chain and some stuff came on.

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/2012-06-19163249.jpg

And yes, it does burn outs
http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/2012-06-20163741.jpg

At that time, the exhaust looked liek shait, so I made another one.

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/20120712_135103-1.jpg

Rode it like two times, before I came over some brand new, very cheap Sx50 plastics
Hmmm..

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/hapriliarsxcopy.jpg

So it began, Super motarding the racing streetfighter. Haha

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/20120810_164223.jpg

Damdidam, and got an Rs125 front end on it.

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/20120827_172549.jpg

And electronic fuel injection

And

Bike #2

Started out something like this, newly refurbished frame with some good parts.

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/20121115_184635.jpg

Since I'm really a two stroke guy, this bike is getting the Airsal Xtreme 88cc longstroke kit.
http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/rs003.jpg

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/rs006.jpg

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/rs005.jpg

With some high end engine block engineering I'm going for 25hp + on the rear wheel, with out touching the cylinders durations.

The new bike, gets a old man's look

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/18nov2012235908.jpg

And of course, using the original Minarelli Am6

http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/20121123_003631.jpg

And I also got an Aprilia Sr50, that's going stunt scooter

And I know, my english is fucked up!

I've actually done something today!

Fitted the fuel tank, 4L aluminum tank.
http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/20130330_145359_zpsa5ca3748.jpg

Alot of work getting the sadle to fit, and still looking nice, but it's coming together soon!

I've done a little more on the fuel tank bit. Secured the tank. Now it only needs to be cleaned up a bit to look nicer.

How did you get a hold of the SX50 fairings and seat?

looking absolutely great. A real one off! How about some spoked wheels? Or some of the new rs50 Y shaped ones? Not sure if they will fit though

MrA
03-31-2013, 07:05 PM
Thanks!

Got the plastics and seat from a dealer here in Norway. They are brand new and I paid almost nothing for them :D

I'm looking for some spoke wheels, but since I have the rs125 front shocks, but the rs50 rear end, I'll probably need wheels from two different bikes :D

Should try and make an undertail exhaust !

looks brilliant, have read about this bike on streetfighter forums. What kinda power do you reckon the 230cc 4 stroke engine will kick out? Around 25bhp?

LukeRS

What are the plans for that black solo seat RS50 with solo seat and no tires? On the paddock stand?!

MrA
04-02-2013, 01:17 PM
Thanks guys!

The engine is ment to be atm. 19bhp, but that I don't belive in :D
When it get's turbo and electronic fuel injection, who knows.. :)

The black one, is mostly going back to this state, but with a two stroke instead of the four stroke.
http://i841.photobucket.com/albums/zz337/MatsMra/20120709_161633.jpg
I'm going for Norwegian "record" on bhp on that engine. Time will show if I make that happen :D

Good to here the black one is going back as a stroker!! Am i right in thinking you're going to use an Airsal kit?

Michelet

I'm guessing parmakit (110cc) for the record :)

Zav
04-08-2013, 04:39 PM
Or the Hebo Manstron Pentanegra 70 cc = 24 Bhp maybe with right parts more and no need for crank case changings and no need for a expensive paramakit exhaust that are hard to get hold off

MrA

The black one is getting the Airsal Xtreme 88cc kit. I'm going for 25 hp + on the rear wheel, without touching the cylinder ports. The engine itself is getting a lot of attention. Max flow porting, filling in, and porting out for a bigger read valve to match the flow of the 37mm flat slide carb.
