I want to ride my DD to work more often. Only thing holding me back is I carry my PT gear and lunch to work. I hate wearing a huge backpack especially in the summer. I already have a tail bag and soft saddle back set up but I havent found a way to put them on the DD without tearing up the paint. Im thinkin about buying the luggage supports for the DD but damn its pricey!!

no I dont have the aprilia tail bag...I have a Nelson Rig tail and saddle bag set up that I use to have on my ZX14. The aprilia tail back is kinda pricey too!!

Can you take some pics and post what they look like on your bike? And also somehow show how big the inside of the bag is? Thanks:worship:

I just installed the Ventura kit on my Tuono. It is of ace-high quality and you can pack a bunch of stuff in it.

thats actually not bad looking...looks kinda big too but damn $200+:pissed:

Does it rubb your rear fairing at all? Alls Im worried about is scuffing up my rear fairng. I might actually get it coated with 3M paint protectant...

Sorry I can't load pics for some reason  The bottom of the bag is very soft and I had it on my old 750 DD and the 1200, without any scratches. The top part of the bag is also removable leaving the two small side bags attached to the seat. I think its a great design and it's made in Italy not China!

Hi everybody,

I`m lookin for a soft tail bag for my 2012 Dorsoduro 1200.

Would be very happy if someone could post some more pics of the aprilia soft tail bag for the Dorso. Specially how itīs attached to the bench.

I already wrote lanter a private message, but without any reaction until now :D

I got the soft tail bag a few weeks ago and have noticed small marks on the fairing where the edge of the side bags sit, a bit upset as I am super fussy with my DD and doesn't look like these marks can't be removed (maybe through a cut and polish) only very slight marks, still damn annoying to me.. It's from the edging they have used for stitching.. Not being able to lock it or lock to the DD, and the hassle of the straps to remove and attach to the DD can be a bugger too.. For the price, the design could be a lot better, sort of wish I would of stuck to the backpack...!

Hmmm mine never scratched my 750 or my 1200! I also like the fact it can be taken off quickly with no permanent metal rack attached to the bike. It also comes with straps so it can be worn as a backpack. Oh ya! It is harder to mount to the 1200 seat because it's thicker then the 750 or gel seat.

Ciao tomd,

sorry for my english

i not going too much quickly, often up to 160km/h and no problem with handeling (aerodynamics). And about weight balance, i not transport heavy things, balance is ok. Box is very rigid if compare with plastic like

http://www.givi.it/cases/monokey/E55-MAXIA-3

But squared space is not good for helmet, just some small things, 2L PET Cola, and integral helmet is not getting in.
