I am starting to notice wear on my front tire (about 5k), which makes me start thinking of replacement. I've got a good bit of life left yet, but am wondering what tire options are out there for the CN. I think that the Tourance is a fine tire - I've been more than pleased with its performance, but what other choices do we have? Is there a street tire made that fits the CN?

Thanks,

Jack

YOU CAN PUT SPORT TOURING TIRES ON THE CAPO...I LIKE THE AVON AZARO II..RAN THEM ON A FEW OF MY OTHER RIDES. GREAT TIRES.

I have tried to find a decent 19" "sport touring" tire, but eveything available in 19" rims seems to be a variant of the Metzler Tourance. My first choice is the Avon Azzaro ST... but no luck> Does anyone know of a decent road tire that will fit the front end of a Capo?

Maybe Bridgestone Battlax BT 020?

Thanks, but its not available in 19" size for the front. On further research, it does look like the Metzler ME 33 Laser Front/ME 55A Metronic Rear or Michelin Macadam 50e might work, but both come in a slightly taller front (110/90 - 19) rather than the stock size(110/80 -19). Does anyone know if this slight difference will work ok?

Try the new Michelin Anakee. These are even better than the Tourance!
