Looks a great project. Did you buy the decals or let the company that fitted them provide them? Or are they originals? Look very similar to what I'll be fitting apart from the colour.
Your spray work looks pretty good too, have you got any tips as I'd like to have go at the rear hugger and front mudguard myself!

12-27-2011, 12:24 PM
Hey, thanks dude!
Didnīt really think that this project would get any attention, therefore i didnīt upload ALL the photos. :(
Here you have some answers to your questions.
-I bought the decals from www.motorbike-graphics.co.uk, I think i had a bit luck when the company accepted to do the job! :D

The whole bike is painted with spraycan painting (hope you understand, im not English so I donīt know ALL the words, eheh..)
Lay down each layer of painting with small pauses between. If you wait to long you will get the "bubble effect", if you donīt wait long enough your painting will start draining(?)!

I love comments so just leave a comment if there is something you want to know! :)

Here you have some photos of the bike finished:

Here is a photo of me and a friend with RS125 Harada Replica

Looks GREAT!!! I Dig the flat black/ bright red combo.

12-27-2011, 12:40 PM
Thanks for the info, won't be ready for decals for a long time but at least I know where to go for mine. I love the meshing too. Good Idea. I checked out the extra photo's on your link. wasn't sure what the black bolt kit photo was about. Any chance of an explanation in english please?

12-27-2011, 01:17 PM
@Nicketynoo, youīre welcome. Im glad to help ;) The black bolt kit is black fairing screws bought from www.tastynuts.com If you take a good look at the photo above you canīt see any shiny metal colored bolts :) Hehe!

As I mentioned in my first post I sadly got to take a good look at the asphalt this fall.. Here you get some photos of that as well, my plan now is to fix it 100% :D
Hope you donīt like them!

http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h377/rs50_/01102011534.jpg@LuckyPuck, thanks I love it myself! :)

Hope you guys donīt mind if i upload ALOT of photos! :D

12-27-2011, 02:34 PM
Doesnt look like you came off to hard, ive seen much worse results of tarmac inspections :p:

Hopefully you learned from it.

12-27-2011, 02:51 PM
@Patrick, I think i got my knee between the bike and the asphalt.. :P
Yeah, I have absolutly learned alot from it.. ;)

What do you guys think about changing my rims? :D

12-27-2011, 04:45 PM
yeah I like the red rims ,theyd totally change the look of your bike. I like the black fairing bolts on your bike ,they go well with the overall look, but I LIKE SHINY!! Ha ha.
Real shame about the gravel rash, I dont think I've seen any bike advertised on Ebay without it. They must just be prone to being thrown down the road. Am seriously thinking about fitting the crappy panels I got with the bike until my lad learns how to ride it.:peace:

12-27-2011, 05:05 PM
Hehe, maybe I will change the rims then! :D
Yeah, alot of people crash within their first year of riding..

Im 16 myself and, well.. I learned from that crash..
If i were you I would paint up a fairing kit really nice and 100% :)
Then you could tell your son that when he has been riding for like 1 year or something you will put on the nice fairings? :D

I died inside when I crashed with my bike.. I have put alot of work in it, with help from my dad! But this time, I will fix it up myself without help!

12-28-2011, 08:21 AM
where did you get your rear brake lever, and carbon mirrors please, also nice bike shame about the fall!

12-28-2011, 10:58 AM
I bought the rear brake lever on a norwegian webstore ;)
Here you have one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/APRILIA-RS50-RIGHT-FOOT-BRAKE-1999-2005-MODELS-/110763076431?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item19c9fe6b4f#ht_500wt_986)
I think www.pjme.co.uk sell brake levers aswell :)

The carbon mirrors was bought by the previous owner for 60Ģ each!
I think you can get them cheaper on Ebay

Thanks for comment :)

12-28-2011, 12:16 PM
i dont need one, its just yours hasnt got the black grip and looks quite cool :L i have the carbon levers already too, but i think ill give the mirrors a miss at Ģ60 each :L cheers anyway and no problem :)

12-28-2011, 07:53 PM

12-29-2011, 08:41 AM

12-31-2011, 12:14 PM

01-04-2012, 12:46 PM
Do anyone want an update? :)

01-04-2012, 01:47 PM

01-04-2012, 03:15 PM
Hehe, okay then! :D

Soon I will have an exhaust hanger in my mail box. Thanks to nicketynoo! :) Swapped it for an intake manifold.

Just did another swap: I got, Hebo Titan, Original Cylinder (Mint condition) + 500 Norwegian kroner (NOK) and the one I swapped with got a Yasuni R3 and a seized TP75!

Will soon get a kick axle in the mail with 325 NOK and then I will send this person a Dellorto 21mm

LOVE Swapping parts! :D

06-30-2012, 10:26 AM

Sorry for not giving you guys updates, but I have a thread here: http://apriliaforum.no/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=7367#p176640

I could need some help with my "shopping kart".
What should I buy and what shouldn't I buy?

0,40mm Reeds

15 tooth front sprocket

47 tooth rear sprocket

BR10ES NGK Sparkplug

06-30-2012, 10:55 AM
what is the rest of your set up?

0.35mm reed petals might be a bit more responsive

06-30-2012, 11:29 AM
Setup - June 30, 2012

TP75 (Pink)
Dellorto PHBL24
Hebo Titan
Stock Airbox

06-30-2012, 11:34 AM
Redo the helmet? Make it match, would like a hell of a lot sicker if you did! :bump:

06-30-2012, 12:21 PM
id go for 0.35mm reeds as id expect them to be more responsive

06-30-2012, 01:33 PM
Patrick recommended 0.40mm reeds for my setup I think..
However 0.30, 0.35 and 0.40 is included in the kit!

06-30-2012, 02:24 PM

if patrick advises 0.40 use 0.40 ;) he has ALOT more experience with your kind of set up

however if you get them included you can always try 0.35mm and if it runs a little ru=ough then upgrade 0.40mm

06-30-2012, 02:50 PM
Hehe, I'm used to running with the stock reed so think I'll feel a biiiig difference anyway! :)

Does anyone know if those reeds are good, or should I go for something else?

06-30-2012, 02:59 PM
stock reeds normally dont last very long with a set up like that, and run like a bag of shit anyway

if the reeds are too thin they wont close in time to keep the compression but because they are thinner you get better throttle response because they can open quicker and easier

when they are too thin they can permanently bend open slightly due to the excessive wear from a bbk

if they are way to thin then there is a chance they can rip off with the increase of pressure on them and wizz round the crankcase ruining crank bearings ect

07-01-2012, 03:49 PM
0,35 would be better 40 is quite big,
Chrism you are wrong

If they are too thin at high rpms they will start to hover and the bike will run shit

Get the malossi reed pack

07-01-2012, 05:09 PM
Hese geting the Malossi reed pack so he can experiment with it, so he can fit 0.40 and 0.35 to see what it does.

Thin reeds can rip off wen they start to flutter, but the reeds would have to be much to thin than like 0.25 or stock reeds, wich ive seen rip off quite a few times, especaily wen the stock reeds are made of steel, doesnt take much, just an aftermarket exhaust on those steel ones seems to do the trick.

07-01-2012, 06:48 PM
Okay, thanks guys!

I'll go for the Malossi then, any comments about the other things?
Anything I should add?

07-02-2012, 04:23 PM
Redo the helmet? Make it match, would like a hell of a lot sicker if you did! :bump:

The bike looks great mate, you've done a good job!
What do you mean the helmet ? rexagon ,is that what we'd call the nose fairing?

07-02-2012, 05:01 PM
Thanks Nicketynoo! :D

Helmet? :bangwall:
