does anyone know the value of resistor on the starter relay?

If you are referring to the component connected across the coil terminals of the connector, it's not a resistor... it's a diode. The only resistor I'm aware of is in the low fuel light circuit. Not sure exactly where it's buried in the harness, but it measures out to be 68.5 ohm through the harness. Hope that helps.

I just figured it to be a diode myself.mine broke off at the silicone and I need to find a replacement. The diagram calls it a safety diode,do you know that value? thanks sxvinwa

Just about any diode would work... just make sure to observe polarity. Take the body of the one you have to radio shack. If the body is of equal or greater size you'll be fine. Some people just cut it out of the circuit and forget it after shorting it by connecting the battery backwards.
