On a typical '09 RSV1000R, I'm looking to replace just that little short front brake line running from the master cylinder to that "T". Looks like a typical Banjo on one end, but the other end ... not sure what type of fitting is used to connect to the "T" manifold ?? Is it male or female, what thread size, what diameter, etc...

FWIW, I'm not ordering a stock replacement because I'm changing the height of the brake controls (handlebar conversion project). Nor am I interested in running dual lines as a replacement. Rather, I just want to simply order a custom line if I knew what type of fitting that is. Can anyone help me??

Not an option.

The "T" fitting is permanently crimped into the hose, not threaded.

Take your original hose assembly to a shop that specializes in making high pressure hoses and have it made to fit.

John, you can get some custom brake lines made right here locally, (Sarasota, FL). HEL lines, any length, color, color end, or bend. Complete with banjo bolts and washers. Very reasonable. PM me for details.
