View Full Version : Stupid question about display

I looked around but couldn't find the answer...

What is the number 2 for in the lower left corner of the display? I've seen photos here where some have a 2 and some have 1.

What is that number even for?

I don't see it referenced anywhere in the manuals either. Maybe I'm overlooking it?

Trip counter - there are two. You toggle between them and the odo with the toggle on the left switch block

This is a really good time to make this statement... "Read your Supplied Owners Manual".

Thanks guys! The dealer must have toggled it over to #2.
I have both the owner's manual and the service manual and didn't see any reference to it. But again, maybe I just missed it. Definitely gotta play around with this thing more.

How do you reset them to zero when you fill up your tank

How do you reset them to zero when you fill up your tank

Push straight in on MODE for a couple seconds. It will only reset trip 1 or 2 depending on which you are on. It also resets Vmax,Vavg, mpg, instant mpg, chronometer in that trip meter too

Yes, need to do the reset quite regularly and especially when the car behind you lights up with blue lights, last thing you need is a clever cop looking at your recorded max speed

Mind you, not too many of those around :)
