The pics of the Touno R had a rear insert instead of a rear seat but all of the models at the dealer (including mine,,,Vroooooom) have a second seat.Does anyone have a source for an insert to replace the seat?

Keep the rubber side down.....

Your dealer or any online resource that sells genuine Aprilia parts ( AF1 for example (http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=7479) ) can get you the rear cowl.

If you bought it new it should have come with both!

My 2007 didn't come with one either. I got mine from the Aprilia dealer for $168.00. Way too much for what I got but, since it's the only game in town, I guess they can charge what they want.

First of all introduce yourself or we will ignore you!!!!!!:kidding:

07 and most 08's came with both, seat and cowl. For some reason, later one's only came with the seat????

B.T.W. there is a totaled 08 in the for sale section and it looks like he has a seat cowl.

My 08 did not come with the seat cowl, I just picked up one from AF1 and it looks great.

Pretty sure 07 did, 07.5 was a mixed bag and 08 did not. They are pricey, and I don't think you can buy it whole, only in pieces. Have fun putting the decals on.

Here's the kit I bought: http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=7595

You're right about the decals, they are a bitch to get on perfect. I used the soapy water install method and mine turned out pretty good except for a couple of minor air bubbles, gotta find a needle to take those out.

Thank you all. Ordered a cowl to squander money for "the look!" Can't wait! No problem with the decals. I got my Vermont roll of duct tape!

 Keep the rubber side down!

Mine did not come with one when I purchased it but, my dealer got me one no charge. Waited from March 'til about 2 weeks ago but, it was worth it. Mine came with the decals installed. I did have to attach it to it's base though.
