Just bought some black stuff to put opn my bike. Gonna protect the tank with some sticker-sheet (perfect color-match) and maybe I protect the front / back with it. Maybe I'll cover some decals too . . . . The other thing I bought is some special black-spray for the signal-lights. I can also apply it to the brake-light but I think I won't like that. I'll post the results when I am done.

The black sticker-sheet I used to protect the tank isn't visible in daylight but with my flash it shows up to let you guyz see what I did:

It's OK if you apply it correct (I fucked up one light so I had to do that one again). The light are still visible enough and if not I can replace the bulbs with bright Leds or brighter orange lights. And finally if you really don't like it you can remove the paint with a special fluid (I bought it just and put it in a small bottle just in case the cops don't like it I can wipe it off on the spot).

Nick

Whaen you get a chance could you take a picture outside of the bike full side on?

Looks good so far on the black bike, not sure how it would look on the silver and red.

Very cool.

Who makes "Black Back Magic"? Is it available in the US?

It is made by a company called C&C Equipment from Belgium (Kortrijk). I guess similar products should be available in the US.
I thought MOTIP made some too: http://www.motipdupli.com/webgate/WG_5_2.nsf/name/home-de?open.

I like the protective film on the tank - who makes it?

Me too please!

Very impressive. I was thinking of getting some of that clear protective film (which I'll probably get anyway) but black film for the tank seems much better.

BTW, thanks for the pics Nick. Everytime I see them I think I'm looking at my own Black Factory, which will look even more like yours once the Tigs I ordered arrive.:D

The curves in the tank makes it a pain to install so have patience when you do it. It's nothing special I guess. It's the glossy black sticker-sheet they use to make letters and logos for vans and windows, no special brand. It's very thin and almost invisible when applied. I paid 4,50 for a piece 50 cm wide and 100 cm long !

First a ask for a sample to match the color with and I put it on for a week to see if it could be removed easily when needed: it's super!
