Looks great...

What do you use to clean the cases? Gunk?

mineral spirits(paint thinner)in a spray bottle, a brush to get in those tight spots.
After scrubbing use water hose or big sink to blast clean then use air to thorough blow out all water. Better dry it good cause water makes things rust.

As above.

Thanks. I have aprilia engine stands and Clutch wrenches for making the work much easier. I'm always spliting cases and installing new cranks, big bore kits, carbs and well whatever one needs to get more power and to keep on the road around here. I just love two strokes.
If I had a daughter her name would be Aprilia. I had a son so I named him Derbi. Ha hahahah aahahahahahaahahahahah ahahahahaqhh ahahahah hahahhaaaaaaaa.

I stoped balancing cranks cause they come outts da box real nice. Now I just put the cranks and berrings in the freezer before installation to make things go in a bit smoother.
