Got a 'weird' story....

Seems the tiny 'sugar' (?) ants we have here in south central Texas love the MANA. That is, my wife has ridden in for work twice over the last month and each morning after shift, she's seen the MANA covered w/ these tiny light-brownish ants.

If you've ever been down in this area, they're the type that are strung out along the sidewalks by the thousands and just seem to be going about a '100mph'!

Seems they go up the kickstand and end up near the front forks w/ some in the compartment tool bag. I guess they're thirsty, attracted by the coolant?

Never have spilled anything w/in the compartment that we're aware of.

Anyhow, just thought I'd share a 'weird' story tonight....

That's really odd. The computer lab at UAM used to get loads of those things. It seemed like they were attracted to the computers.

Ants are guided by pheromones. Maybe they think your wife smells sexy.

I believe that ants and various other insects are attracted by the magnetic fields caused around cabling.

In our house we have a terrible problem with little black buggers eating out the power points in the walls. Grrrr!!!!
