Only need to expensive plugs if the engine is tuned up. Anyway BR10EG for british summers and BR9EG for the winter.

Really? in my manual 99-05 rs125 says br10eg.Thanks Maxiboi... I double checked the manual (07-08 US/CDN) and it says "Standard (FULL POWER) NGK R BR10ES". There might be a difference since I have the -09, but I'm sure it came with the right plug...

I will have to see the lads about this one.

It should be the BR10EG or the B10EG. You might want to find out what the difference the S and G makes. I did have a BR9ES when my bike was running rich but once I sorted the fuelling out it was fine on the BR10EG.

I believe the only difference between the EG and ES is the electrode size. I think the EG has the thin electrode and the ES has a wide one.

B= 14mm Thread Diameter
R= Resistor type
10= Heat Range (10 coldest, 2 hottest)
E= 19mm Thread Reach
G= Racing Use (S= Standard Electrode)

Here's a link to the NGK code chart.
