Lol. For your next birthday, get your dad to buy you a decent digicam! (j/k)

Can't see much of her from the angle.

The single track road looks fantastic though!! That'd be one hell of a place to ride if it went like that for 20 miles. Bet it's only about 200 yards long in reality - the single track from the front door to the main road, right?

Ride safely and considerately and do your parents proud!!

haha the road is about a mile/2miles long. i'll post an aerial map in a minute :)

the only problem is the fact that wallasea has a dock for importing wood, so you get all the artics tear arse up there.

will do :D

Nice

I miss not riding out with my dad anymore. He says I ride like a hooligan and would rather follow me in the car. Well, try to :)

Does that mean you're riding up near the Walton-on-the-Naze part of Essex?!

nah i'm down near southend :) although my dad said he'll ride to frinton with me for fish and chips :p:

is that your area then??

Sadly not. I used to travel to Colchester to teach though. Long hard commute!!

Fish and chips is okay....it's like that in Southend. I get really hungry on the bike but being vegetarian, food choices in Essex kinda suck, so I can eat ice-cream or just drink lucozade till I get back home. Had to move out of Essex due to malnutrition

I love Tolleshunt d'Arcy/Tollesbury following the routes out to West Mersea. Fantastic roads. Great at 6am in the morning before all the flies come out. Timing is everything. Any later, and shit Sharons in their 4x4s and Trev the Chav in his boyracer Escort come out to try and murder bikers.

Moved back to London last year. It just seems to suck a little bit more everytime I go away and come back. :)

haha, along the seafront there is one fish and chip shop to like every 5 people XD colchester and back is a bit of a trek!! Just going between rochford and hockley is a pain in the arse for me XD (mainly due to inconsiderate drivers)

and how about just eating the chips and leaving the fish :p:

Lol. Clearly you've grown up there and visited every one as a kid! :burnout:

It's like Canvey Island. There are amusement rides and a fun fair some times, but there always kiosks selling chips, candy floss, popcorn, ice cream and high carbohydrate junk food and the 300lb walrus moms seem to like to bring little poodles the dog for a walk whilst licking candy floss which looks like poodle's poncey puffs. Southend-on-sea is just the same - you get a lot of the east-enders from London heading up during bank holidays. That's why there's so many accidents on the road

Never travel on the A12/A13 during a bank holiday!! Be lucky to come back alive. It's not actually the Essex people who are bad at driving. It's their children, who all work in bl**dy London, and commute back and forth.

Actually I can eat fish, so long as it's raw (i.e. sushi). How's that for being a liberal vegetarian! I just don't euhhhh...like greasy food :)

Lol. Of course you've not visited every fish ^ chip shop. New ones keep on sprouting! :D

How cool is that! What a fantastic journey through the country air. Everything looks so so green - even the river

Seriously - that is why I love Essex. The Essex speack is a bit tough for me though. I don't like working in pubs though. People piss me off after I've had a few beers ;)
