yeah how does the old 750 fair against the new 1000 ?

ive heard quite a bit about the 1000 overheating and leaking coolant but never heard anything about the 750 (most likeley as it was never imported to sweden)...

basically, putting the power aside are there any major reasons why to choose one over the other.. or why NOT to choose one for that matter.. ?

If power is no issue then the 750cc would be my choice. By simple math you eliminate 25% of the cooling issues and I know a guy here in Texas who has two MV F4 750cc, between the two bikes he is close to 100k street and track day miles on them. Besides, I always like originals, the 750cc came first, so it will always be the "real" F4 in my mind?

the over heating is a problem with the 1000s however, MV just released a new water pump and impeller that is some say has done wonders. I am waiting for the weather to clear so that I can take my MV and have it installed at the waranty, now part of the problem is that the 1000s have a plastic fan simply upgrade it to a Vesusio metal fan and problem solved!

I would go with a 1000 over the 750 unless you simply want a 750. there is the price thing too

decisions, decisions. oh, to be burdened with such decisions.
