Guys,
Keeping in theory with the whole Multi Carb idea to keep velocity up without restricting flow. We design an expansion chamber and motor to flow "X" volume and in doing so we require opening everything up for that volume. The down side is that it reduces the velocity and hence poor low down performance and pushing the power further up the power band. Ithink in trucks they use a butterfly or flap type mechanism that opens and closes an exhaust. I understand the pricipal to be much like the power valve unless just for a breaking purpose?
Do you think designing two expansion chambers for the bike at say 8,00rpm each and using a butterfly to open and closed the second pipe would make a difference. Help keep some of the power back in the lower rev range?
Just a thought and sure sounds crazy.
