I have read that there will be a Mana 1200 in the works for the coming years. Does anyone have any other info on this? How solid is the 1200 engine currently in use by this company or its partner companies?

1200 Shiver & 1200 Dorsoduro [not Mana]: The 750cc engine used in the Shiver and Dorsoduro will be available as a 1200cc. It is the same engine with an enlarged bore & stroke. There is no absolutely no confirmation of a 1200 version of the Mana. An online magazine made a "Mana 1200" assertion a few months ago claiming that it would be unveiled at EICMA 2008 but I believe they are simply mistaken and have confused the 1200 Shiver/Dor with the Mana. The Shiver/Dor 750 engine was designed to be offered as a 750 & 1200. I seriously doubt the 850 Mana engine has that capability and if I'm not mistaken is essentially two 500-Master heads. If that's correct, then they may be able to bore it out to say... 920-960cc... it wouldn't make much sense offering a 840cc and a 940cc on a bike with modest sales at best. Perhaps time will prove me wrong but at this point I'm inclined to state that it's worse than an unconfirmed rumor; it seriously appears to be nothing more than confusion between the Shiver and Mana.

Next big thing for the Mana is ABS.
My 2-cents. You are welcome to prove me wrong.
