Well, Im pretty annoyed as you can guess,

Ive had problem after problem with my 06 Ditech, And its only done 3000 miles!

Spent 400 pounds recently on replacing the ECI i think or something like that and some seals,

And my bike now runs worse than ever!

My bike lacks power!

When i start my bike, I now have to open the throttle abit. Never used to have to do this.

When it runs and i put some revs on it revs up then borps up and down ad 4000rpm then jumps to 5000 then up to 6000 so on but drops down asif its lacking compression. And i cant get my bike past 8000rpm.

I put my bike on the stand, Rev it, It goes to 5000 drops up and down until i release the throttle then rev again up to 6000 then drops down to 4000 ect.

When i manage to get it up to 8000 revs it doesnt want to go past there, Im on the road riding at 7000rpm then go towards 8000rpm then when it hits that it stops and wont rev until i realease the throttle then throttle again.

Any idea what this could be?

Thanks in advance, Jet

The fuel pump?

Have you checked compression... It's the first thing that came to my mind before I read it in your post.

1. Check Transmission - see if there is anything wrong with the front pulley.
2. Check for air leaks in the compressor area
3. Check for air leaks in the air line
4. Check for any leaks in the injector housing
5. Check that the injector o-rings are not damaged
6. Check the injector spray pattern

I think if the air injection/compessor was wonkey it would be hard to start. Maybe the throttle position sensor?

I added the water trap last week and I am having the same issues.

I found leaks for the first two days but I am not finding anymore. I am about to just remove the darn thing.
