i have an 03 aprilia rs50 and i need a new chain and sprocket kit. my bike is completely standard apart from deristricted.

what is the standard sprockets sizes ???

will 13/47 be ok and will the chain fit this comb if not can any1 recommend me a ration cheers.

you have a similar thread to this somewhere else, could of re-posted in that.

Just keep with the sizes you have at the moment, if you want a better top speed maybe go 1 or 2 teeth bigger at the front, but this will compromise your acceleration slightly, or for better acceleration 1 or 2 teeth smaller on the front, but this will compromise your top speed slightly.

However if you put a too large sprocket on the front your bike may not have enough power to pull it to top revs thus decreasing your top speed

you can change the rear sprockets if you want too.

Rear larger = better acceleration
Rear smaller = better top speed

Front larger = better top speed
Front smaller = better acceleration

also wat should the standard size be is it 11/47 or 12/47

m9ines really wierd its got 12 51 on it :S lol i bought it like it 1

i'm not actually sure lol, because i think the old shape bikes come with different standard size

but at the moment i'm running 14\52

FAQ's show standard as 12/47.

For your model stock is 12/47, your bike should be able to pull 13/47 but with a little slower acceleration.

Mines 12/47.
Clock reads just over 65, pulls it easy tho
