I know the opening temperature for the thermostat is between 70 and 70 degrees C this works lal good and well as i have tested it, but when i start my engine up it heats up nice and fast, but then it just carrys on going once around the block and the needle is border line red i darent see how much further it goes, on my cylinder head, as it is a replacement it has 2 outlet ports under the thermostat, on my old cylinder these would be blocked off but they are not on this one, any ideas what to do with them, any suggestions on why it is overheating?

It's a minarelli AM6 engine (1998 model)

Thanks in advance.

maybe the thermostat is broke.

I had one in my bike when i first got it, but it was broke so i just run the bike without it. Thinking of buying on soon though.
