I've read reviews upon reviews about exhausts for my RS50, only thing im planning on buying now :p

Standard apart from its derestricted.
Was wondering which to buy from:
Endy,
Kundo,
Gianelli
Leo Vince
Arrow

I read the 9pipe thread but it doesn't have the other ones on it. I would like your opinions please on the performance of the exhausts

Torque/Max Speed!

Thanks,
Roy!

what do you want the pipe for,you say torque/max speed.where do you want the torque, low down ie a low reving pipe or top end,ie high reving pipe which will give you the max speed.its only a 50,you cant have both.

My current exhausts covered in rust and is starting to look really tatty!

I would like one which performs well overall, has a decent torque and top speed not completely specific in either area if you get what I mean?

Thanks,
Roy!

i see it like this,

its a 50cc bike, whats the point in spending the stupid prices they charge for the sake of a few mph, yer it goes fast, but on ya average journy it wont save ya any time unless ur upgrading it all from standard i guess,

but still between these lot i dont see the point looking at stats, they all make it faster! but at the end of the day its stil a 50, meaning compared to everythink eles there slowww! fuk it, go for what u dcan afford and what looks good.

who rattled his cage! ye i under stand mate. from what I here go for the gineli

as a good compromise of performance against price go for the gianelli or arrow, the only difference there is the sound really, arrow tends to be a little deeper and not as raspy, leo vince is good but very expensive, the metrakit exhaust from www.pjme.co.uk is also a top bit of kit for the money

Which one would u recommend for the best performance/sound?

And also quality, dont want it rusting quickly or falling apart!

in my opinion the gianelli or metrakit, both good build quality and good performance, the oval can on the metrakit pipe looks cool too and i think its available in carbon.

Mine hasn't been replaced yet its still standard, just thought it would be nice to get a new exhaust put on it seeming as the current one looks rather crap.

they aint 200 quid, the metrakit ones about 130

craigb, you say whats the point in spending money on go faster bits for a 50 and i see in your profile you have spent money on a k&n filter and endy pipe..................

spend the money in the right places you can make your rs50 walk all over a new 4 stroke 125

Still though it's 130 too much, just to get rid of the tattyness (lol) anyway, for performance though it's quite good value really.

I think craig has done his mainly for looks. I remember him buying that endy pipe, and i remember what he said "i'm not after performance these things are slow anyway i just want it to look good"
(or something along those lines), yes i'm sad lol.

yeah i bought some high temp paint for it last week. Only thing is i didn't sand it. Not because i didn't know or couldn't be bothered but because it was so rusty and quite brittle looking i honestly thought if i sanded it i would go through the chamber. so i didn't even risk it, i just painted it and it has turned out as bad as i expected to be honest

probably a fair bit. Do they have to go through customs and stuff like that aswell? i bet they'd charge for that. I know people who send from places like hong kong charge for that reason.
