Hi well as my bikes a write off iv been lookin at some others,
i seen a nice RS50 1998, the guy wants bout 750 for it.
Its been totaly resprayed wheels, frame, fairings (and it looks decent)
Had new tires and pads,
its got a 80cc bbk and a 21mm carb and a leovince zorst.

Think 750 is fair price? (there is a slight knocking though, he said it appeared when he put the new zorst on, but it doesnt get any louder when the bike revs and doesnt seem to get any worst, any idea wht it could be and if it would be exspensive to put right?)

Anyways my dad was also was sayin cuz its got a BBK on it, it would proberly need to increase the amount of 2T going into the engine. The guys had the BBK for 4 months and has done plenty of miles on it and im not sure if he did increase the amount. Is it hard to do and what kinda ratio should be used? or is it even needed?

Hi mate,

I would say dont even think about touching a used bike with a BBK or any mods to extreme, you dont know how many teenagers buy them and just mess about with them.

Just buy a de-restircted RS 50, then if you want add a BBK your self.

But seriously dont go any where next to it mate!

Hope this help's.

Kris.

Yeh, cheers for the advice.
My dads bein a twat anyways and wont let me get 1 with a BBK,
which pretty much cuts out like 90% of the bikes i was looking at.
Just pretty much fukin enoyed about not having a bike,
Wasnt too bad for the first 2 weeks but now it just gets on my tits all the time

Personally i think 750 for a 10 year old bike is ALOT of money. Yes you should increase the amout of 2-stroke when you have a bbk.

If you're still 16 lay off non-stock and derestricted bikes. You'll have no licence or insurancve, even though you've paid for it. If you're 17, or close enough to wait, why not get a 125.
