Hi guys. I know that this isn't a Looxor forum, but I have had help here before and the looxor seems very very similar to an Aprilia in many respects, AND I'm desperate here in Australia

I have been reading a lot of the tutorials on how to speed up the Aprilia Scooters by removing the variator washer and fixing the exhaust etc.

I wanted to ask if you can adjust the clutch to take up earlier than it does??

With my scooter I have to rev quite a lot before the clutch starts to engage. Once it gets going it is OK but I feel that it should start to engage earlier.

Can anyone help?

RPM needs to get up first to be brought into the powerband where you have the power for a quik takeoff

-So havier clutchsprings are used to bring rpm more up ,before clutch engages

Otherway around : softer springs to let the clutch engage more early are 'not done'

-In the perfect rpm ,you will have more power,so you will have a better accel

-Is the vario derestricted ?

-Does your scoot has a rpm counter ?

Hi MAX

The bike doesn't have a restrictor ....yet

and no Tacho.

I am new to these scooters, but I felt that it should engage earlier. It is no big deal really. When you start off you have to sit there for a couple of seconds before it starts to move which makes you feel like you're going to fall off because nothing happens for a bit
