Piaggio engined ditech? U must mean the normal piaggio engine with the carb...never heard of a piaggio ditech..

12-14-2003, 03:34 PM
No its a Pigaggio Ditech! The piaggio engine is called purejet but is exaclty the same as the ditech! Thats what i got told on here!

12-14-2003, 03:42 PM
Heh thats weird...never heard of that.. :S A purejet engine isn't the same as normal ditech... does your sr has a carb?

12-14-2003, 03:45 PM
No carb, like i say its still a ditech just piaggio's version

This has been coverd in previous posts, but anyone who does not believe that the SSR50s are moving to Piaggio motors for both the carbed and ditech versions, should try looking at
where you will see purejet motored sr50s are given a separate parts listing for 03 and onwards.

incidentally for anyone who is ahving trouble finding the right exhaust for the ditech, the parts list shows what the standard exhausts look like, and they are rather different between the engines.

p.s how much is a Norweigan Krona worth in $s, euros or ús. the prices look terrifying in NOKs.
