Just finished Project Centro 4.5 -- Still working on Project Centro 5.5 which is very similar, except we are doing some anodizing at the moment. Everything was done "in-house"... including the subtle graphics kit. (but not the anodizing).

Looks stealthy! I like it. Do you have the bigger fuel tank on your bike? Mine (550) doesnt have that lip at the back of the fuel cap.

No... That is a nut-saver... apparently to keep you from tearing your sack on the gas cap during abrupt braking.

Its actually a pain in the ass... I took mine off on my 5.5.... hassel to get the cap on/off.

It looks great!

I'd lower it in the front and put more tension on the rear spring to make it look even more agressive tho!

cool... glad you guys dig it.

to answer a couple questions...

It is being sold as a NEW BIKE.... so it was ridden up/down the street just to set the throttle and do the de-restriction.... but we didn't touch the suspension, etc, etc, etc.... totally stock except for the graphics kit.

Yes, it was painted. We used a simple deep-preg plastic/automotive paint. 2 coats... hang it out to dry (in a preferably "dustless" environment). Pretty easy. We don't have the resources for clear-coating.... so it is a satin-matte finish.

We bought a Die-Cutter off Ebay (about $300).... feed it some vector graphics.... badda-bling....!

I'm not sure why we don't see more graphics on the wheels. Maybe there are a bunch of freestylers with them, and I don't know about it..... but they set the bike off like TNT..... looks soooo effin' hot in person. I think every bike I own will get some heavy graphics on the wheels from now on.

So what's different about this bike other than different graphics and colour - am I missing something here?

Just a Black 450.... nothing done to it. It looks cool, so I was sharing it with you guys. The 5.5 will be a little more trick.

Centro is the biggest Aprilia dealer in Switzerland. Centro Aprilia. Sell Only Aprilias.

How did you go about painting the plastics. Was the paint in spray pack (can) form?
Did you have to sand back and front down before painting and how strong is the paint does it come off?

It looks pretty tuff by the way if you can't tell by the questions I love it.:worship:
