I'm new to the forum looking at buying my first Aprilia just wondering what a good price is for a 07 RSV or Factory model. I have seen one on Ebay for $11,000 new at a dealer. Should be some dealers looking to move the 07's right now.

Between now and Christmas is probably the best time to be buying. Riding season is over and taxes will be levied on remaining inventory. As far as price, if you found a factory for $11,000 I'd jump all over it. I personally have never seen one that low. Check in the AF-1 specials section as they continually update current prices and inventory. If that doesn't suit your fancy I got a great deal from Smith Powersports in Hayesville, NC. The drawback is the service is nowhere near what you will get from AF-1 and the mechanics are not nearly as knowledgable. Good luck.

Just not sure if I'm keen on the Replica colors without seeing it in person.
It looks o.k. in pics but if I buy it and have it shipped it's mine. They might also have a black one with the blue wheels.
Is a Factory more $ because of the paint scheme than the standard colors?

the BDor replica is based on the base model RSVR, not the Factory, same MSRP as a base model.

The Factory adds about 10 carbon fiber pieces, an Ohlins shock, and forged aluminum wheels.....the cheapest a Factory will probably ever be is around $14999. Base models are much less.

You guys are lucky your bikes are so cheap! in NZ a Factory is NZ$29,995 and a RSVR is NZ$25,995.

yeah but from what Scott2Ride says ... eveyone in NZ is rich ... and loaded with disposable income ... just look at his appetite for destroying aprilias

Scott, thank god you didn't get seriously hurt when the linkage broke, and when you tossed the ape down the track ...

I wish that where true!! NZ is one of the most, if not the most heavily taxed countries in the world. There are a lot of rich people though, but I'm not one of them. I went to a Duc dealer today to see if I could take a 1098 out, no way they said, no demo's, all pre ordered and all sold! can't get enough in so they have a waiting list, they must be some bike.

I bought my RSVR last friday. It was 5000 C$ less than regular price.

Usually, standard RSVRs go for 19,000 C$ but I got mine for 14,000 C$.

But with the CAD actually being worth MORE than the USD at the moment, even with the dang rebates we're getting shafted compared to US prices.

Still, I'm not complaining... I like my new baby.

Only shitty thing is that I'm waiting till next april to take it out for a spin. Snow's gonna start soon here... Yuk.
