sure is a beauty, it's also been in the RSV section under Cwalker's (he's the QMS aprilia dealer) project mayhem. The sxv is Mayhem 2 and is getting a bit of motor work this winter :D

Sorry, but i think they screwed up the looks of the bike.

About ten gold chains for the rider, and he`ll be big pimping.:cigar:

i gladly invite you to follow the rider round a track.. these tires have 20 minutes of use on them....

BEER, i was looking for you guys in the paddock for over an hour, but couldn't find you.:bangwall::bangwall: you should have given a shout into our box when you saw the bike mate, i was busy in there all the time with stuart, amauri, darryl atkins, darrick luchessi and the lot...

Too much Carbon. you really cant see the detail and craftmanship in the bike. They need to off set the carbon around the frame so that you see both.

that is exactly why they're on there... a set of cf frame protectors costs 'a bit' less than a new frame.... that bike does have a very hard life, both on the streets and on the track...

I did not say a thing about rider ability, just that the bike looks like a pimp machine, it would be right at home in south central LA.:cigar:

the bike looks great , but you need a new front gard . they have done a great job with carbon to get it looking straight on the Aprilia bodywork .
http://www.tyga-performance.com made a great looking front gard in carbon

i thought the oem red white and black looking decals would look great on carbon bodywork

And you are absolutely right. Don't get me wrong, I'm a carbon guy myself, in fact I use it for many applications besides blinging out bikes. It must be that CF frame protector that's not to appealing to me. Maybe I will design a better one.

Pimps don't know what carbon fiber is....They like the fancy paint & chrome....I think if a pimp owned an SXV , he would try to lower the suspension, stretch the swingarm, chrome plate everything, put a 270 in the rear, nitrous, candy paint --or in ---otherwords--- build a completely worthless motorcycle...Thats what pimps do in south central...

I think that bike looks Great!!! I'm curious if Orange would refer to an unpainted GP bike as pimp, cause that is exactly how they look in pre season testing....

Our factory is full of pre season testing, and factory machines and not a poser in the bunch.:cigar:

It's cool for what it is. What I like is that they found everything in Carbon. I'd like the contrast of some color. I think CKruzal's the artist in the bunch, so what he says.

Bling and pimp I usually associate with the metalflake paint, chrome, DVD player and the requisite lights on the wheels to make the sparklies.

Wait, I'm getting ideas..........

sorry mate, the only problem here is getting an average of 200-250 e-mails each day of the week, sometimes more... let alone the phone calls....:bangwall:

would it be OK if i give the tires to stuart to take along? (he'll be here again next monday) or is that too far for you?

The disclaimer document you would have to sign will take up more room than the tyres !

how about some results from Mettet?? How bad did the yanks get spanked??

DKM
10-18-2007, 11:13 AM
I don't think our boys really got spanked. I heard Cassidy Anderson was on Superpole and would've won had he not fallen. Micky Dymond did really well too.

The Belgians did a great job of that!|

the whole thing was extremely well organised; people were great; track was awesome; birds were fit as fook!!

TBH I'm not looking forward to the final round next weekend in my home championship cos I know it will never be a good as Mettet

Fair play to you and thanks!!
