I'm looking at a 2005 Nevada Classic 750 for my wife's first bike. Does anybody know reliablity of this bike? I believe this bike was first introduced in 2004 and was developed while under Aprilia. I have heard that these later models (2004+) are all pretty good bikes. Any words of wisdom?

Get as late a model as you can...early ones can run hot & grenade...
...some rather spectacularly :(

get'r the breva 750, they're rock solid and a breeze to ride. Unless she wants the cruiser look then get a new new one or the griso 850 EVEN better :plus:

The wife has a Breva 750, '04. She likes it. It's low enough for her to put both feet down flat, has the 'guzzi bags and larger/taller fairing. She rides her BMW R1100s mostly.

Me, I think it's a nice bike for around town and although many take them on longer rides, more than a couple hundred miles seems a little tedious on this bike. Only 5 speeds and cruising at 70-75 seems to me to be revving a little too high for comfort. It is smooth, though. Overall, not bad.

Oh, did I mention that it got a brand new engine (warranty) at 5100 miles?

If you get one (I think any of the small blocks) install the aftermarket deep oil pan piece. It
gives you a little over 1 quart of extra oil.
