I just tried to fit (well looked at it) the handguards that allegedly fit the Strada but it doesn't seem to be fitting OK, so I am selling them to someone who thinks that I could be wrong unless someone has some closeup photos of how they fit and I am being plain idiotic.

I paid 40 plus postage from Motworx.

offers or explanations please...btw what size allan key goes in to remove the bar weights? (if they need to be removed)

P.S. Shocksock for sale - don't need it after fitting rear hugger. 5.99

Hi Don, the BMW F650GS guards definitely fit without any modification needed. Have another look and see if there's something obvious you're missing. Photo's below of them fitted to my own bike, hope they help.

Good luck Don, if they're anything like the Aprilia, they really are easy to fit, just watch out for the feable fixings as I nearly threaded the mirror fixings (I have over-tightened the front fixings that you can see on the photo below, I dont think they'll ever come off again!!??

@ Panda... Any idea if I can order new screws and the rubber fixings for the front fixing bits that I've buggered up with my heavy handedness?

Joe

I'm looking for a small tank bag with map pocket. What make and model is the one in your picture?

Thanks

Myabe, its not simple though, you're best bet is to see if you can source them locally...I'm still waiting on the missing fitting kit from a set of handguards I ordered months ago and I don't really ecpect to see them to be honest...

It's an Italian made FAMSA item. I bought one for my BMW Rockster, then got a seperate base to fit it to the Pegaso, also have a larger tank bag which fits to the same base.

I had a look at there site and they don't seem to have a distibutor on your side of the world, US and Europe only it seems.

Shocksock is though.

P.S. Joe Bar, looking at my hanguards in the other thread and comparing them to yours, are they slightly differently shaped?

They look pretty much the same to me.
