Seems that at least the water pump is very exposed in a fall. Has anyone fitted crash bars or pads to their bike?

Thanks

I agree that the Hepco and Becker bars look pretty bad, so I am tempted to go the GSG engine pads route. But how much protection would they give in an off-road fall on the Trail? How far out the side do the HB bars and GSG pads protrude?

BTW I Googled "Pegaso crash bars pads" and this link didn't come up. I'll do a manual search next time.

Thanks

Thanks, excellent pictures. I checked the GSG website. The knob appears to be only on the right side side (where the water pump is). It appears that on the left side of the bike there is a plastic pad that fits on the alternator cover. While these would help in a slide down the road, how much protection would they provide in a spill on the trail?
Thanks
