Not a western WI rider but I do envy you for the gorgeous riding you have there. Here in Brew Town we got squat. Keep watching here because we are trying to get/meet a group of midwesterners for the races at Elkhart Lake/Road America.

I am up for that! I definitely plan on attending a few races at Elkhart this year for sure...

You are right about the scenery here... A little bit of everything from rock faces to twisty forest roads... Very nice place to ride as long as you watch out for the deer and farm animals!

Alright a couple of Aprilia's near my neck of the woods.. We should meet somewhere this Spring... I am in dire need of riding companions!

I know a few places to meet ;-)

Dakota County Tech College -- http://www.ridingcourse.com
Brainerd International Raceway -- http://www.brainerdraceway.com/
Elkhart Lake, WI (Road America) -- http://www.roadamerica.com
Beloit, IL (Blackhawk Farms) -- http://www.blackhawkfarms.com

Seriously though, I will be looking for companions to do some track days at the tracks listed above - in addition to people to ride with on the street.

I have a 3 place sled trailer with chocks for 2 bike and a 3/4 chev crew cab that could easily haul 2 bikes. I want to take the most cost-effective route this year to get on the track, otherwise I'll just ride the KTM off-road on the weekends.

Anyone interested, let me know! If you are new to Track days, I can fill you in with tons of links and info.

I live in the NW corner of the T.C. and ride for fun in the area from Pepin to Mondovi to Alma-great roads. Unfortunately I do it weekdays to avoid traffic and therefore am usually alone. Guzzi John:peace:

Come on up to the CRA (http://www.cra-mn.com) races this season at BIR. I'll be there racing an SV650.

I may be riding the Mille out to Road America for the AMA races as well.
