Hey all!

Just checking in. I'll be an owner of an 04 Mille R originally Red but will swap body work with a silver/grey Factory R since my buddy likes his bikes Red/Sliver. I should be taking Possession on 10/3 with the swapped body work. Woo hooo. I can't wait to join the Mille culture. I started out on a '00 750 honda shadow for 2 years then went to a '01 YZF R6. Now I'm back to the beloved VTwin. Can't wait to put down those first 600miles!

Looks good.

That front fender isnt too bad, although it does give you reason to buy some carbon straight out...:D

Thanks guys!

I really have missed out in a definite riding experience! Damn all that pull and how easliy the bike can come up. The design of the tank just invites you to lean off and hang the outside leg all up on the tank comfortably. I need more time with the baby. In order to get some more variation on the bike, I'm planning on getting one of those red aprilia sticker for the rear hugger like the ones on the Haga and Edwards edition bikes. Also get a few stickers on the front fender something with the Michelin guy on it just don't know the color.

Did the bike come with the red fender as standard?

I'm asking as any Silver R's I've seen this side of the pond or in Aprilia's launch blurb had a gre fender fitted matched to the paint on the bike.

Just curious if this is another difference for the US market.

Enjoy the bike!:D

He's yet to pick up his mille. Oh another confusing trade that we are considering is trading the mid fairing. The red standard mille R has the same color silver as the silver factory R. The silver factory R has the gun metal grey mid fairing. We plan on trading those too just to see how it looks.

He'll have the Red with the dark Grey

And mine will be all silver except the dark grey seat cowl.

Here's a pick of my hacked up license plate holder

http://www.cycleforums.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=55438 you can find another pic here. Of course it was a little bit larger than I can place here.
