I'll be sad to see it go but I've decided it's time to try something else :(

Please see my eBay listing for details. (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-APRILIA-PEGASO-STRADA-650-RED_W0QQitemZ150100775665QQihZ005QQcategoryZ9913QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

What is it your thinking about next??

I was at the bike show today and now i cant stop thinking about the new Kawasaki Z750 in black.

Those Aprilia RVX's are absolutely unbelievable too. The front wheel was sky high everytime the guy gave it a gear. Totally impractical, but look like a riot.

I fancy the rush of an I4 again. Seen a beautiful 05 plate FZ6 that I can get for about 3k.

I'll definitely miss the Strada though....:worship:

I was seriously tempted TM especially as I am in MK. I had the opportunity to run about on a Strada for 3 days a while back and was very impressed. In the end, I decided that the Caponord did everything I needed so I couldn't justify a second bike.

Can I ask how much you got?

2,600 but it needs a 300 service and a new rear tyre within about 1,000 miles. I do about 9,000 miles a year....

You got a good price for that, I just bought a June 06 with 4000 on the clock from an Aprilia dealer for 3300.

I loved riding the Strada but always felt the need for a little more ooomph. My daily ride now takes in a few more longer straights than before and the Strada just lacks that little bit extra.

I've only ridden the FZ6 for about 70 miles so far but it seems to be as good as all the owners reports say it is. It rides really easily up to about 8,000 rpm and is excellent for commuting. Take it above that, right up to 14,000 rpm and it's like a completely different bike. I was doing about 9,000 rpm in 3rd and opened the throttle to overtake and it really flew

Wind blast is quite severe, but that'll help stop me riding like a complete loon all the time
